Introduction
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a highly prestigious examination conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) located in Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee. This examination is carried out on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
The primary objective of GATE is to assess the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science.
