The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam, more commonly known as the GATE is a very important exam that almost every engineering student aspires to give one day. This exam is conducted by IIT’s and IIS’s on behalf of MHRD. GATE 2020 examinations pattern.

• Exam medium is a computer-based test (online).
• MCQs and Numerical category question will be asked in the exams.
• Candidates may only attempt one (1) paper for the GATE 2020 exams.
• Exam sessions will be divided into two (2), forenoon (9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon) & afternoon (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM).
• The GATE examination will take 3 hours.
• 65 questions on a subject will be tested.
• The total marks for a paper is 100 marks.
• The section on General Aptitude (GA) must be completed.
